I purchased my canoe from you 10 Years ago. It is 16' x 35" Kevlar/Fiberglass Canoe with Black Aluminum gunnels and I felt I needed to contact you to give you a comprehensive review of the boat.
I was initially impressed with symmetry of the boat and the fit and finish of the seats, the yoke, the gunnels even the handles. It handles beautifully. It is stable yet quick and tracks extremely well both as a tandem and a solo canoe. We, as a family of 4, have used the canoe for day trips, interior camping trips, solo playing hooky from work trips and leave the kids at home and get away trips. We have had our children, our parents, my sisters in law, nephew, nieces (their boyfriends...hmmm), friends, our dogs, other even people's dogs in the canoe. It has been used as a taxi, a barge, a solo canoe and a pack canoe. Without exaggeration this canoe has been in and out of the water and strapped to a trailer or the roof of an SUV more than a hundred of times and with the exception of the superficial scratches on the bottom (resulting from poor judgement by the user) the canoe is as structurally sound as the day we bought it. We own a piece of property on an island and have had to load the canoe numerous times with loads as much as 900lbs for various project. The interior and exterior of the canoe has proven to be as durable as it attractive. Even the colour (dark green) still looks amazing.
This canoe has been used for all its intended purposes and more (...so much more...) and shows no sign of giving up any time soon. I truly believe that it will last me a lifetime and because it does everything so well that I cannot see the need to replace it with another. Although this is not great news to you as a retailer, please know that you have 100% customer satisfaction on our family and I have recommended you to many people of the last decade.
